We would like to provide you the main information needed to join the event:
HOT TO GET TO TURIN PORTA NUOVA:
We identified 3 main logistics’ nodes from which you will be arriving, with the main scope to ease your convergence to Torino City Center - Porta Nuova Central Station:
o TORINO CASELLE AIRPORT:
- BUS: there is a public transportation bus service between Turin airport and City Centre, which stops @ Porta Nuova & Porta Susa railway station. One-way fare: Euros 6.00 (+0.50 € aboard). Journey time: 45/50 minutes. Tourist bureau, ticket office, ticket machine located at Arrival level or aboard (+ Euro 0.50 extra-charge) For information and timetable confirmation: SADEM Bus Shuttle ph. +39 011 3000611. • CITY TO AIRPORT: From Porta Nuova Central Station, Corso V.Emanuele II 57/A. Timetable: From 5.15am to 11pm
• AIRPORT TO CITY: From Caselle Airport Arrival Level. Timetable: From 6.10am to 0:00 pm
o TRAIN: a railway links the Caselle airport with the GTT Dora Railway Station in Turin Center in 19 minutes. Every 30minutes from 5am to 11pm. Journey time: 19 minutes. One-way fare: Euros 3.70 (valid both for Train & Bus in Turin). From Dora GTT Railway Station is possible to reach Porta Susa central station, the Subway/Metro and the center of Turin with the service DoraFly & public trasportation.
o TAXI to Turin is also available and it will cost you around 40€ trip – RADIOTAXI Torino +39 011 5730. In town we settle a fixed fare for the event main destinations. When you call the taxi you have to specify "REM fare".
MALPENSA AIRPORT: Bus service Malpensa Airport - Turin Porta Nuova is guarantee by bus (20€). Timetable on malpensa website.
TORINO PORTA NUOVA/PORTA SUSA Central Stations: You can arrive here from many location in Europe.

WHERE TO GO IN TURIN
Once you got to Torino Porta Nuova/Porta Susa you have different destination choices, depending from day of arrival/place you are hosted. Here a quick table to summarize what you need to know:

*From Torino Porta Nuova or Porta Susa to Meeting point A (Holiday Inn Piazza Massaua) you can take the subway To Massaua subway stop (5 to 10 min). After midnight, during the week, Bus 33 – from Corso Vittorio Emanuele II (PORTA NUOVA) - Direction: Costituzione – 18 stops, Arrival: bus stop FIDIA.
Abarth and Jeep Packages: hosts can register directly at gala ball site: the IVECO industrial village. Jeep package meeting point will be in the Hotel Genio hall at 22:15pm in order to be picked up by the REM BUS.

In case of STRIKE/HOTEL doubts you can always eroll in D point and there get directions on next steps.
REM badge: once enrolled to the REM Reception desks you will get the REM badge. IT will be the most important thing you will need during your stay in Turin. On the badge you will find all the information needed about program & details, meeting points, meeting times and activities. The badge will also allow you to get in all the REM facilities and in services included in the packages you purchased.Dress code: Saturday night gala ball requires black tie or dark suit, all other appointments are informal. Smart casual is suggested for flag cerimony on friday. In case of emergency smoking can be hired for 80€, just alert the registration desk to get the hiring company number. We are not responsible for smoking availability.

In qualità di team organizzatore dell'evento, vogliamo rendere particolare omaggio a quei Club che si sono mostrati, ancora una volta, straordinari e che hanno saputo interpretare perfettamente lo spirito che guida l'attività rotaractiana.
Questi ultimi hanno deciso di non limitarsi alla classica partecipazione passiva agli eventi ma hanno scelto di fare di più: hanno quindi contribuito, attraverso la partecipazione diretta dei propri soci alle numerose attività che un evento di tale proporzioni richiede, in maniera attiva e diretta alla realizzazione del Rotaract European Meeting Torino 2012.

Dear Rotaractors, Rotarians and Friends,
As members of the District 2030 (North West Italy) we are glad to have you as our guests in the exclusive city of Turin.
In this glamorous setting, where the 2006 Winter Olimpic Games took place, we propose to celebrate the ITALIAN - Winter Rotaract European Meeting 2012.
ITALY and all the 10 Italian Districts chose to organize this event, so we planned to extend the invitation to all our friends from all over the world, since Turin and the Olimpic settlement are world recognized location for turism.
During this International Weekend we will have the chance to confirm, once again and more than ever, our close cooperation all over EUROPE. We will share a great experience, based on conviviality and service.
Enrolments will take place from October 15th 2011 to November 26th 2011 with cheap price, after normal price will be applied till Monday 19th December 2011.
ONLY Gala, Ball and Sky packages will be available till 15th January 2012.
